Brandon Seacrist

My name is Brandon Seacrist, I have cerebral palsy and I use a wheelchair for my daily needs and activities. My life became very exciting when I met Jim and Michael Sayih at a clinic for UCO 5K in 2015. I'm very cautious of who lifts me from my wheelchair but I wanted to get in that chariot. Jim lifted and placed me into the chariot. He ran with me and I felt so happy and I knew I wanted to run and they could help me do that. My first race was the UCO 5K and my chair broke down on the run (the tire went flat) but that didn't stop me or Jim. We still crossed the finish line and got my first medal. Special Compass has been a part of my life for five years and I run 5K's, half marathons and triathlons. Triathlons are my favorite because I get to swim, bike and run. I have met the greatest Power Buddies that care and helped me across the finish line at my races. I love all my medals and I want more. I hold my bad arm so we can go faster! I love when my Power Buddies to go fast because I like the wind in my face.
